SkyTest® Preparation Software for Middle East Carrier Screenings is a comprehensive software preparation suite for pilot screenings hosted by Middle East and pan-Asian airlines. The software features 17 comprehensive training modules to prepare applicants for aptitude and psychometric tests they will be asked to take at the screening sites.

Emerging market carriers and Middle East airlines in particular are growing their fleets fast and report strong demands for experienced air crews and motivated flight students. The airlines offer attractive career prospects but will only consider applicants who meet their high employment requirements and qualification profiles.

Aptitude screening methods and psychometric tasks candidates will face in the assessment-centers of emerging market and Middle East airlines are similar to the admission tests used at esteemed flight schools, which have shown to be among the most complex in the global aviation industry and require a sound preparation.

Training Assistant

The Training Assistant recognizes gradual improvements in your performance and adjusts the complexity of tasks accordingly. Training Assistant will also draw your attention to tests underrepresented in your previous preparation and those that returned below average performance results to encourage additional training.

Embedded Boards and Preparation Assistance

Community boards are embedded directly in the masks of the software to share and exchange information with other users and approach the SkyTest® support team through (participation in the board discussions requires the software to establish a connection with the internet).  Our friendly support team will gladly assist you with any question in your screening preparation.

Performance Evaluation

The software allows you to review and evaluate your training. Scores and performance statements are both compiled and reported in great detail.  The software provides feedback during and after test runs. Your long-term performance development can be tracked in statistical graphs and tables.

Using this prep product you will be able to compare your score in the tests with reference scores. This feature will help you judge your individual performance development.  Reference scores are anonymized allocated benchmark performance stats of members of the SkyTest® user community who agreed to share their average scores with other users (retrieving and sharing scores requires the software to establish a connection with the internet).

Randomly Generated Tasks

Most of the tasks are randomly generated, i.e. there are a very great number of tasks that you may be asked to undertake. So, for example, in dice unfolding the same display practically never appears twice. This has the advantage that no "familiarity breed contempt" effect sets in, as when the same tasks are repeatedly set. The same goes for all the other tests and for the mental arithmetic: Each task set is created by the random generator, so that the same tasks are very seldom repeated. All the same the results of the calculations task are always sensible, whole numbers. It is also worth mentioning the training module for gearing: each new instruction for the displayed cogwheels is also randomly generated.

Note

Training modules of SkyTest® software products are similar to the original tasks but not meant to simulate or reproduce actual tests. As this is a preparation product all modules were designed under the premises to deliver gradual performance enhancements in those ability domains identified crucial for a successful airline screening participation.
